Here in lies the first spn_thur_nights Prompt-A-Thon Challenge and RULES:

We are going to start pre-series/pilot for this weeks prompt! So any responses to this prompt must be set either pre-series or during the pilot episode but no later!

Challenge #1: Everyone has that moment...the moment when they realize that what they are doing, why they were put here, is worth it. Tells us about that moment! When did John, Dean or Sam - or all three of them - really *know* that what they were doing mattered, not just to them, but to someone they helped along the way.

1. You MUST read the COMMUNITY RULES in order to participate.

2. All responses to this challenge must be a minimum of 100 words and be COMPLETED before posting/linking.

3. There is *NO* due date, but posting/linking will be on THURSDAY only!

4. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Hey, are the prompt-a-thon's weekly, bi-weekly or something else? I checked the community because I thought I'd somehow missed last weeks but couldn't find anything (not that I really have time to write at the moment, but I was curious).

Anywho, I'm planning on writing a fic for this challenge, just as soon as my exams are over (Friday!). I just thought I'd let you know in case you thought there was no interest in the prompt-a-thon.

The original idea was that there would be weekly prompts. And unfortunately, I fell asleep at the wheel last week! Sorry about that! I will, unless some major catastrophe happens this Thursday, have a new prompt for you! Sorry about that!

Oh, don't worry about it! To be honest, bi-weekly prompts might even work better, it'd allow people the time to write something a bit longer than a drabble before the next prompt comes along to tease the muse.

That's true! I may do it that way unless there are objections! I'll be sure to mention that in the posting this week!
